The Forgotten Trestle by alophoto

The Forgotten Trestle

I was out exploring our flooding river the other day and came upon this. I wanted to get on it, but didn't want to be foolish so this was the closest I got. The river was surging beneath.
Great capture Amanda.

A great abandonment capture (very wise to only get this close)

So glad you had the common sense to stay off it. Great photo from where you were able to stand.

A terrific image. So glad you decided to err on the side of caution. Great composition to get the decay of the bridge with the river and even a house all in the frame

Love all those signs of neglect and decay. Pleased that you suppressed your sense of adventure. Certainly doesn't look safe.

Oh, I'd be very curious about this too BUT I'm so glad you didn't dare go out on the precarious thing, especially with that raging river beneath. Stay safe!

Oh, yes, that looks a bit derelict and dangerous with that river in flood. Nicely captured from where you were.

I doesn't look well used, that bridge...weak but photogenic.
