This photo is my morning vacation from my crazy busy day...this week is quite crazy with Clara's birthday and party, slammed with events at work, and other life commitments which aren't few. My time with the dogwoods was my peaceful, beautiful few moments of the week. I so needed that!
Taking a deep breath, doing some prayer and getting ready to tackle my day one foot in front of the other. My dad has always taught me it is like eating an elephant one bite at a time. Wish the reference was a steak or something yummy not a stinky tough skinned elephant.
Have a good, productive, joy filled day. That is my goal.
First of all this is a beautiful photograph I love the POV and composition. The colors and shallow DOF make it a beautiful piece of art.
Sorry this is such a struggle for you this week. You always seem to have such positIve in spite of whatever life throws at you. You are an inspiration to us all
@maggiemae I did no downward dogwood...but I should have. I did have a dog on a leash though and was feeling pretty self conscious standing in someone's yard, up by their front door with their neighbors outside. As I was walking home a patrol car drove by and I actually started whistling to be innocent seeming. What is wrong with me?!
