Building Wings So Eventually She'll Fly

It's my job, to train them to fly. I know this. But gosh, to think that in 10 short years my nest could be empty. How crazy is that for someone who has mostly been home with her kids for 12+ years.

I really got to make better use of my time with them, teaching them valauble things.

Gotta get busy better making each day matter more.

Gotta get busy feeding them breakfast and making birthday cupcakes for my sister today.

Be blessed today and fly strong!
Pretty texture and color.

And then there's the stage when those who fly *your* nest have chicks of their own! Awaiting the arrival of our first grandchild in October!

I have a saying by my front door that says the most important thing we can give our children are roots and wings. I tried very hard to do that with my children and it sounds like you are doing the same with yours. You can't go wrong with that kind of philosophy.

I love this picture and the connotation that it carries.

Perfect sentiment for this downy feather!

Every time I see photos of your children, they are playing together and smiling. What a great start you are giving them.
