I'm not a Moonie

But I do love the moon.

Shooting it was the fun bit of my hard day yesterday.

Work was tough, I stayed late to try to finish up and found out my kids were locked out of the house. And then last night, Michael and I rushed off to a banquet only to learn we were a week early.

After shooting the moon, I poured myself a glass of wine and took a hot bath.

Do over.

Beautiful moon shot. Sorry the rest of the day was such a bust. The worst of it must've been to find your children locked out of the house. Glad everything worked out OK in the end and you probably needed that glass of wine and hot bath

I owe my shot to my wife. I saw earlier today that tonight was a full moon but promptly forgot. She came home and said, "Did you see the moon?" I went out and got a few shots, went back into the house and our power went off. Really fits the word for the day of the month. The good thing is that it was back on in less than an hour!

I am glad that I'm not the only one who arrives at events a week early! Have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend!
