For the past two days, Lucas has been giving his little sister, Clara, stick fighting lessons. Part of me worries that they will poke an eye out. But most of me loves it.
Clara is always willing to play whatever her siblings want to play. She's easy.
Here after a long lesson in offense and defense, Lucas let Clara go in for the "kill."
I was using my 35mm lens and trying to capture them playing, but most of my shots (ok, all of my shots) were out of focus. Must have the settings wrong.
I am wanting to be more intentional about capturing the stuff that mattters. The moments that I will never want to forget. Not just the posed stuff, but the real life.
Also to brag on my boy here...sister had a cold hand (her glove had a hole in the finger)...and my sweet boy gave her his glove. See his bare hand. What a precious heart!
I can't help but wonder if my parents had taken more photos how many memories it might jog for me... your children will have fun looking through your photos and remembering the good times they had together!
This photo tells the story of a very brave girl and her gallant and gentlemanly big brother. I hope it will be passed down through the ages. Play is so important, how wonderful to capture it!
