I just saw these guys for the first time the other day. They must have just come out of hibernation.
I was having quiet time this morning on the back deck. Listening to the birds chirping, watching them flitting around and heard some scurring in the woods. Looked over the ledge of the deck and saw this little one below. He seems to be hanging out in the falling apart stick wigwam that the kids set up out there. What a cool fort for him.
I love these cute guys. Did I ever tell you I played a chipmunk in my first school play in 2nd grade? My one line was, "Save my place."
Actually I can almost see you as a chipmunk in your school play and I bet you were spectacular
