It was a crazy night of on and off rain, but all and all a great night of baseball, fireworks and family time.
It was tied up at the end of the 9th inning and it went into extra innings. And in the end, the Reds lost.
This adorable moment was in front of us and I couldn't help but snap some photos of the cute father son scene.
And then after the game as we walked to the car, several blocks from the stadium, I noticed the father right behind us. And then I had a completely awkward moment where I told him I took cute photos of he and his son and could send them to him if he gave me his email address. It was so stinkin' weird, felt like a creeper. I was just trying to be nice. Were I this father, I'd want this cute shot!
Haha! I have done the same thing. I start by saying that I'm a photographer and show them the shot. Then offer to send it to them...or give them your e-mail where they can contact you for the photo for free. It is an awesome shot.
Such a sweet shot. You were right to tell him you had taken it and offer to send it to him. I guess not being a photographer, he did not appreciate the artistic value of the shot being from behind rather than showing their face. I love this.
@henrir@taffy@homeschoolmom@joemuli I guess I shouldn't have told him I was watching him the entire game and took nearly a hundred photos of he and his son and I'd be glad to come over anytime and share them with him;-). Not like that at all, but I could have done it less awkwardly for sure. I didn't have my camera out to show, didn't tell him I was a photographer. Yeah, it was pretty weird. Sigh. Next time perhaps, I will do better or keep my stinkin trap shut!
