Almost Outgrowing Their Nest

It's amazing how much they are growing in just a few days. I guess the growth is explained by the hungry beaks and so much snoozing.

There were 4 beaks in the nest, 4 babies cuddled up and napping.

That made me happy that the dead one I had found down the street was not one of ours.

I've heard they start flying at 14-16 days, so they will take to the skies pretty soon.

Gosh they grow up fast. Glad humans are a little slower (though now that my babies are all grown up it feels pretty fast, too!)
Awww so sweet! Time flies for sure!

You may thinbk your babies are all grown up but one day you will look back and long for these childhood days too.

A superb photo that shows the feathers coming in nicely. Great to watch them grow through your camera's eye!

Good if they make it ... unfortunately robins are so territorial so they will start fighting, sometimes even to the death. Well that's what happens in the overcrowded UK ... maybe your robins have more space available to them?
