One of the eggs, Clara found in the yard and tried to keep warm in a box, wrapped in a blanket under a light. We checked it, though using a flashlight, and it didn't seem to be forming a chick. Perhaps not fertilized. Not, 100% sure, but thought that it stood a better chance in the nest with the egg that she had discovered the same day.
Yesterday, Clara decided to put her found egg named Jerry in the nest and let the mama take care of it. This was a hard thing for her to do as she had dreams of having her very own baby bird.
