Oh the Places He Will Go...

My son, Lucas, graduates from high school this year. His future plans include enlisting in the military (Air Force is his leaning currently), going to college after that and then becoming a police officer.

He is one of my favorite people to hang out with and I get a little sad every time I think about him leaving pretty soon.

We completed a 4 mile bonus trail yesterday at Long Branch Farms in half of the estimated time. We were keeping a pretty fast clip and even ran on and off. We have one more bonus trail to do and that one is probably 8-10 miles and will take several hours. After we do that, we'll have to come up with a new adventure.

The whole world lays before him.
We have two sons and they are such a blessing. One of ours went into the Air Force - after that he went to work for Microsoft. His military experience has been so beneficial.
