A lot of festivities in the air,
I passed this simple dwelling, at a railway crossing. This is a picture outside the city, where life us at an easier pace.
This woman so involved decorating the entrance of her home with colourful Rangoli (design) .
The care and involvement, is what I felt.
There are strainers on the steps and with the colours, so the powdered colours are smooth to work with. It conveys to me, an artist at work with love and care.
Am sure, by now the fairy lights will be twinkling at her door too , and little oil lamps on those steps.
May the lit lamps of India spread the light of peace all over.
Someone had said this morning "That's one of the great things about 365 I think - it's like an ever changing travel brochure"....it's so true! Such a lovely moment, beautifully capture :-)
