Up early and down to Hampshire to see the big South Coast derby between Pompey and Southampton today... lots of chants featuring the word scummer... rubbish game (we play far too much aimless long ball), but snatched a point with 5 mins left so honours even and think all Pompey fans would of settled for that before the game..
Popped into my parents after to drop off their Christmas presents... Dad gave me his Tamron 70-300mm lens as it's too heavy for him.
The lens has a macro feature so gave it a quick go with my watch this evening...
Haven't really got into macro shots but now I've got this lens, might give it a bit of a go... especially useful I suppose when I haven't taken anything and just want to grab a quick shot of something for the day..

This was over 4 years of saving up tescos vouchers mate... converted to goldsmith's which gave £40 for every £10 tescos voucher, had about £1000 then bought this in the sales adding a couple of hundred... dedication :-)
@emmaroobers haha yeah, also bought the wife a nice set of diamond earings but we won't mention the vouchers (boy.. just realised I shop a lot in tescos... lol)
We don't have Tesco in the U.S. and I don't think our supermarkets have anything as good as those vouchers. The hubs had to pay for my posh watch with blood, sweat and tears (and a little help from the grey market, haha!!)
That is a great macro shot - smart watch too! My tesco vouchers always seem to disappear into Legoland tickets..........must be going wrong somewhere....
What a great lens you got from your Dad. Will be looking for more fun macros. I love that you got this great expensive watch with vouchers from a supermarket. Nice....
