Wiff Waff

Us Brits invented ping pong, or table tennis don't ya know? Or as posh old boys like Boris Johnson would call it... Wiff Waff..!

Had to go and photograph and interview some young teens who have been doing an Olympic radio show/podcast course this evening and on leaving the studio, stumbled upon the Great Britian table tennis team in early pre-Olympic training...

Either that or some student types taking part in a Pingathon/drinking event at the local trendy arts centre....

Not the sharpest of shots but taken through a window at night but quite like nevertheless... :-)

And on to exciting news... something was dropped onto the roof of my train home causing a massive bang, sparks all over the place and emergency stop! Being typical stoical Brits, half immediately got on the phone to moan about being delayed home, the rest of us looked up for a minute before returning to read the evening paper...!!

great shot - we used to play ping pong on my mates kitchen table!! Love the bit about your train journey home! bet there were a few obligatory "tuts" frmo the paper readers too! (mainly at the phone callers!)

Interesting shot. I wonder what was dropped onto the top of the train. It rather boggles the mind to think about what it could be. Being American I would stick my head out the window and then complain loudly about my rights and demand action.
