Progress is not great so far. We planted out seven runner beans we'd cultivated in the greenhouse and put cardboard tubes around them to protect them from the slugs. They've had them all and there's nothing left. It's the same story for three of our five tomatoe plants and one of the surviving two isn't looking too good.
