Somewhere I've seen a challenge of "the first thing you see in the morning". This is my first view from my bedroom window as I lift the blind, although it doesn't normally have quite such a splendid sunrise! My first check every morning is what the weather is like over "my hill" just on the left of this photo past my son's bedroom window.
The view is the result of an extension a year ago and believe it or not, we had no idea we would get such an amazing view before we built!
