For someone who claims her "thing" is wildlife, there's been remarkably little of it in my project apart from the dog!
Here's the start of, I hope, some decent wildlife this year. This red grouse was on the open moors during a rather windy, icy and tough dog walk this morning. I'd taken my long lens on the offchance and I was practically being blown off my feet at the time. Happy days!
@jo13@emrob The red eyebrows are cute, aren't they? When the grouse perked up because it had seen something, it even fluffed up its eyebrows but otherwise it wasn't as good a shot as it was against a really dark background.
