This is the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct in the Yorkshire Dales, shot on a visit to friends living in Hawes. I took it earlier in the day too but passing as the sun went down on our route home, the light was magical.
Locally, it;s nicknamed the "Rubblehead" as it was on the point of collapse before enthusiasts restored the Settle/ Carlisle train route. Well worth a trip if anyone ever gets the chance!
@fueast I knew you'd know the place of the shot! Sometimes the clouds just break and the sun arrives at the right moment, doesn't it? I love how you use light in your Yorkshire landscapes. I really enjoy your album.
