Our dog walk along the Macclesfield Canal is always pretty and I've taken this view before but I thought it looked so lovely with the daffodils at the side of the water.
Beautiful view Angela! I wonder what it would look like if you cropped off the bottom third/quarter? The daffodils would be larger in the frame then? Just my observation, hope you don't mind... it is a beautiful canal and view, so tranquil.
@jackie8 Gosh, I don't mind you suggesting things in the least! And you're absolutely right about the crop- I;ve tried it on the computer here and that bottom bit not only adds nothing but actually detracts. I don't want to replace it in the project cos I think all the comments then disappear but I've certainly replaced it in my own folder at home. Keep making suggestions when they're that good!!!
@angelar - well, I joined a camera club last September and the judges are always asking the question of what does or doesn't add to a photo. I just felt that the bottom section of the image didn't really add much to the photo, it's all about the bridge, flowers and man walking his dog. I have had images critiqued by judges and they've said that about my photos, so I always look for what isn't adding to a photo when I edit!
