We had the girls off timetable again today and whilst the rest of school disappeared on trips, we did a bonding day with the sixth form. A cooking challenge involved the instruction to "create a tasty main meal" from a provided bag of ingredients and a second challenge was to take £5 in to the village and buy the ingredients of a "sexy" pudding. This is a banoffee pie in the making!
Hiya, this makes me hungry! How are you getting on with things? I was wondering if you'd be up for picking one subject for a week and trying to get as many different photos of it as you can? It might work nicely for the mentoring system? I can help suggest 7 different ways to shoot it if you get stuck or you can go for it and see what you come up with? I'm going to try something similar in a few weeks so we can compare! x
@mei_photography Hi- sorry for yet more silence but we're packing to go away for 3 weeks. Great idea re setting a project but since we're about to be in Canada, I think I'm going to have plenty to post in the near future. Are you ok if I contact you when I'm back at the end of July and we'll give that a go. I can have a think about it on flights and things.... never done anything like that before.
@angelar Of course! Have an amazing time in Canada. Where are you going? I love Vancouver, Great Bear Rainforest and Montreal. Been to Toronto too - really want to get over and do more exploring!
We're flying into Calgary, a few days at Moraine Lake and then across Canada to first friends on Vancouver Island and then elsewhere on the island for- hopefully- bears and whales. We're sort of retracing our steps of 4 years ago but it's James' choice as his last major family holiday with us pre university and these things always end up different, don't they? Thanks for bearing with me. I hope to post from the odd place but I'm relying on hotels etc having wifi so it may be a bit hit and miss! I'll take every day though and will catch up with you when I get back. I'll turn my mind to that challenge too! @mei_photography
