Trying to do a bit of a catch up and this is from whale watching in Canada. A wonderful company called Ocean Ecoventures operate out of Cowichan Bay on Vancouver Island and we spent several happy hours in the midst of 2 pods totaling 70 resident orcas. Life is made of sweet moments and this was one of them.

You did well with this. I saw a few whales a couple of years ago, on a trip up the BC coast to Alaska, but never got as good a shot as this of one.

Magnificent shot. Love the water dripping off the tail. Absolutely fantastic. Must go out on a whale watch when the whales return south in a few weeks time on their way back to Antarctica. Definitely a fav
