I'm afraid there's nothing inspiring about these shots against some of the wonderful images you have all posted honouring Remembrance Sunday but this was the best I could do of our town's parade as shot over the heads of the rest of the choir as we waited patiently to take our places at the end. It bowls me over every year just what support this parade gets in our town both in those taking part and those that come to watch and lend their thoughts to our brave fallen.
A wonderful tribute. We don't tend to celebrate Remembrance Sunday here in Australia, but we do observe a minute's silence at 11 am on the 11 November (even in the shopping centres). We also place wreaths on the cenotaphs too. Our day is Anzac Day which is on the 25 April.
