Evocative shot. Crosses at the going down of the sun. ( At least I'm assuming sunset here.) Reminds me of the line from the poem, For the Fallen,
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

@gardencat @onewing Thank you both. I'd taken some shots around this churchyard as I was heading to an event in the scout hut next door but as I was walking away, I saw the sunset was behind these crosses. It quite brought a lump to my throat. They're not war graves specifically but yes Joanne, the poem was the same feeling I had as I saw such a lovely sight. Thank you for that.
