This brought back a lovely memory Angela, the chap who designed the pink waves art work on the ceiling was so lovely to me when the Queen opened the hall in 1996. My dress was the same pink colour as the waves, I was so nervous and Derryk (designer) was so lovely and put me right at ease. Lovely shot and a long story!
@countrylassie lovely to hear the story! You have such a history with this place. These photos are usually for concerts but I've been teaching at my current school for 20 years and we do our speech night there annually too.
