Olive tree by angelikavr

Olive tree

Olive trees are so beautiful, so Mediterranean, they can withstand the heat and drought in July and August and still developed their fruit to be harvested in Oktober. Isn’t that an amazing tree!
It truly is amazing! By the size of it I imagine it is really old as well. I love the bends and curves in the trunk.

@cutekitty Don’t give it a lot of water, olive trees like it dry in warm weather. When it gets cooler it wants more water, and no frost for long periods. It also depends if it is planted in a pot, then you need to water it more.

@angelikavr It is planted in the garden......on a shaded part of the 'rockery'. There are quite large trees around it......I think they have maybe intimidated it.....:)

Stunning tree. And by looking at it’s trunk it must be very old too!
