Ny desk at work. Here I am making (transcribing and editing) a math book for blind pupils. This book is for the 3rd grade. It needs a lot of editing which means inventing new exercises and modifying others so that it is possible for the blind students to do them. An exercise is not accessible if we only write in Braille "colour the circles red and the squares blue". We must invent something else instead, something which teaches about the same thing and which is possible for the blind to do. Instead of colouring the mountains brown the blind pupil can search and find the mountains on a tactile map.
