This is a momument of our former president Urho Kekkonen: The name on the rock, four hands (at the end of a street lamp poles) and a small pond. Many people did not like it at all. They would have liked a statue that is recognizable. Hands up in the air and why four? The bottom of the pond was so slippery that some drunkards who fell in had serious difficulties in getting out of it. People were afraid of children drowning some day even if it is very shallow. But if you are not able to stand up because of slipperiness... Maybe it is not so slippery anymore. I am not sure if anything was done to it.
I have not heard any complains lately. Maybe people got used to it already.
