It was 7.50 in the morning and these brave 8-year-old children with their teacher were marching towards the swimming hall which is almost 2 kms away. They must start early to be back at the school house in time for their free lunch at 11 o'clock. These pupils are from a small school for 100 pupils with no kitchen of its own. The food is cooked at a bigger school and brought to them by car. The children get warm food, salad, bread and milk everyday free of charge during 12 years at school.
I remember swimming before school but not in the winter as it looks to be there, of course our pool was outside & not heated as I hope the one the children swim in is :) Nice shot!
