Some weeks ago I said to my husband who was brushing the dog that he should leave the dog hair in the yard. I thought that birds could use it for their nests. Yesterday I saw a squirrel collecting a lot of dog hair and then the squirrel left with a woollen ball in its mouth. The squirrel has still some grey winter fur on its back.
