Gypsy mushroom - Cortinarius caperatus - Kehnäsieni

Gypsy mushroom (Cortinarius caperatus) is the first mushroom I learned to use. When I was fifteen, I went to the library to get a book about mushrooms. I had decided to learn to eat mushrooms. Well, I went with the book to the forest some 50 meters from our house and found a dozen of these Gypsy mushrooms. I fried them and me and mother ate them. My 4 brothers never tasted any of the mushrooms I picked. Unfortunately I never saw any Chanterelles in my home village.
That's a perfect mushroom...very nice photo
