It was The Museum Day in Finland and free entrance to museums. I visited 6 museums in Tuusula. This is a bridal box or hope chest from the year 1793 in the Klaavola Local History Museum in Tuusula.

Neat photo of history. Beautiful decoration in the lid, linens look to be the large part of the hope chest.
