@leilaboyd This is a Swedish tradition. The Swedish speaking Finns also have Midsummer poles. The Finnish speaking Finns have Midsummer fires by the lakes where they can be seen from far away.
@maaikel If you are interested in Farm Museums this is just the place for you. There is a lot to see there. We had only an hour for us and it was not enough at all. Besides there is the Kastelholma Castle about 200 meters away from the Farm Museum and we saw it only from the outside when the bus stopped in front of it. That's a pity. I think we must go to Ahvenanmaa another time for an excursion of our own.
