Mezereon (Daphne mezereum) was showing off in the Kaisaniemi Botanic Garden in Helsinki. This is a very poisonous plant. My sister-in-law's uncle died as a one-year-old baby about 100 years ago, when an older child gave him a branch of mezereon to play with.
