The nights are cold, below zero. So we have been adding sunflower seeds to the bird feeder. A squirrel and hedgehog seem to find something to eat, too. Last Sunday the clouds seemed the usual grey, but suddenly came a lightning and BRUUM! at the same time - three times it struck, no more. It broke our modem and the part of the computer it uses. So the new modem did not work either. Our son came to show us how to use my Nokia cell phone as a modem. It is rather slow because I did not buy a fast net connection for my phone but it works anyway. We had already ordered a new computer and it is on its way. Luckily we did not have it yet.
