Thorny Locust Tree

I found this Honey Locust tree by the banks of the Kalamazoo River when I was out birding. It's a native North American tree that has really strange and big thorns that grow out of it. Easy to ID even in winter.
Is that just a flooded area of the river - love the reflections with the shot. Very nicely composed.
