The Song Sparrow often perches in conspicuous places so isn't too hard to photograph. This photo would be perfect from a birding point of view if the branch wasn't covering up the diagnostic dark spot on its breast. The Song Sparrow is a migrator, unlike the invasive House Sparrow which is here year round.
