Whitetailed Deer fawn visits again

We spotted the fawn in our neighbor's yard yesterday. Had not seen it since the first sighting 3.5 weeks ago. It ate and laid on the grass for about two hours. I had my good camera handy this time! I read that the white spots last about 6 months and provide camo for the fawn. It can lie down on the forest floor and blend in with the dappled sunlight that is coming in through the trees.
Hi Anna, are they normally that close to people ? Good capture.
Interesting story.

@gosia They are afraid of people as a rule. I took this with a zoom lens from inside my house, so the fawn didn't see me. If I had stepped outside I believe she would have run. They do live now quite a bit in suburban and urban areas, which is surprising for such large animals.
