Window Strike by annepann

Window Strike

This migrating Magnolia Warbler hit my front window and died last week. Very sad. A couple of years ago a House Wren died the same way. Recent research claims that each home in the USA causes the death of 3-4 birds a year from window strikes, even one-story homes. They just can't see glass the way we do.
That is sad.

Well at least you could take your time with POVs and DOFs and Av and T and ISO etc. Anne. We often have the rainbow lorikeets commit kamikaze on our windows and fall into the garden. If you don't hear it happen, the first thing you become aware of is the smell.

@terryliv Actually I was in a hurry to get it buried...that's what the paper bag was for. I think it had been in the flowers for a few days and was starting to decay. My husband saw it when he was tying his shoes by the window. Mostly I took pictures to identify it, but then decided to post one.
