Went to Lake Michigan yesterday. The frozen lake is always exhilarating, and beautifully white in winter. Here my friend is taking a photo with her phone, dwarfed by the sky and the beach, and her even smaller phone will produce an image that captures the immensity of the scene. It's hard to get your mind around any of it. What a world!
