I'm not very good at Bird-in-flight shots, but even though the ducks are blurry, I still like this shot.

Blurring always shows the motion, so it's not all bad. If you want to freeze the action you'll likely need at shutter speed of 1/1000s and greater. I can't wait for more species to arrive; it's still early days here.

Great action shot! I love the splash of water as the ducks are taking off! I like the blurred effect also as it shows their motion!
