Spiderwort

Finally found a cheap & useable wildflower guide for Eastern North America called "What's That Flower?" by D. Edmondson. I used it to quickly learn that this is Spiderwort.

Strange name for a nice flower

I love these flowers, I have one in my garden except it has bright yellow leaves and a Purple flower.

@radiogirl In the light I had they looked blue, but the field guide shows them to be more purple.
