Thank you for your views and comments about my butterfly photos yesterday. Much appreciated. Here is my first shot of a Bluet. Apparently, only damselflies (not dragonflies) have eyespots, which are colored spots on top of their heads. I love this one's bright blue eyespots. Believe it is a "Familiar Bluet."
Terrific focus on this little bluet - the details and color are wonderful. We are so behind this year in their showing up here - just starting to spot an occasional dragonfly and American Lady - nothing else and nobody stopping! Odd weather.
@milaniet I hope you get some soon. Thanks for your comments. It means a lot coming from you. Your nature photos really inspired me when I joined 365. I believe you posted the first dragon/damselfly photo I ever saw here, and I knew I wanted to get some photos of them after that.
