This photo gives a good view of the green eyespots on this damselfly. I never knew damselflies were so colorful until I started photographing them. For that matter, I knew next to nothing about them!
Fabulous detail on this closeup - love the eyes on the damselfly. You caught them so well. Like you, I had never paid them much attention to notice all their beautiful colors and markings.
