I am Woodchuck

One of the few large mammals active during the day in North America. I usually see one at least once a week. If you are not familiar with them, they are about the size of a house cat.

Not your every day find - and you see them weekly! Wow. I think they're such neat little guys - did have a family cross our back yard once years ago - that's as close as I've gotten to them. Nice shot.

@esox They are also known as groundhogs. Perhaps you have heard of Groundhog day? There was a movie with that name some time ago.
