Tennessee Warbler by annepann

Tennessee Warbler

You might be wondering how I got these closeup bird shots. Magee Marsh Wildlife Area at the southern edge of Lake Erie has a forested ridge right by the lake that many migrating birds pause at in May to refuel before flying over Lake Erie to their northern breeding grounds. The state built a mile long elevated boardwalk thru the woods that puts you very close to the birds. With good eyes and patience, you can get some great shots.
You must have been in heaven! These bird shots have been unbelievable. How many times can I fav this guy? He is adorable, you dof wonderful, and that focus is perfect.
