I think! Anyway, something had trashed several pots of bulbs (not shown here) so I've had to net everything. I hope I've done enough!

They do look like beak holes but mice can be a nuisance eating bulbs, I have problems sometimes with squirrels.

I've thought it was mice in the past, but some of the soil is compressed - suggesting some great fat well-fed body was feasting!
