new roses

with - I think - a bug. Funny how it's on photos that I see them first! Aargh! I have just zoomed in - the thing I thought was a bug I'm now not sure about - but it is riddled with possibly three sorts of others. A rose-bug as Mum said ;-)

@narayani I think roses are a bit more resilient, but those aphids literally drained all the sap from my scabious so they'll have to go

Haven't been troubled with aphids this year, but lily beetles have been my nemesis, pesky little critters.
