but not unexpectedly, I have got lily beetle on my fritillaries. I have killed it, and hoiked them out. I did that last year too - and I suppose it might happen next year, if I'm just pulling the tops off. Can live with that ... enjoy them a bit, see a lily beetle, get rid.
