Just been told the heartbreaking news by Lysh that her dog Ted had cancer and has crossed over the rainbow bridge this morning at 11am. He's been her best boy for the last 4yrs. She is absolutely heartbroken and the thought of her upset is enough to set me off too. Just want to hold her and comfort her through the grief. Life can be so cruel. Can't help but keep thinking about how upset she must be. Imagine her giving him a little fuss as she got ready for school, telling him she'll see him later, and then coming home to find him gone. She always proudly tells dog walkers when we're out and about that she has Ted, Nala and Frank, and now I keep imagining her going to tell people and getting upset realising all over again that he's gone. So fucking heartbreaking.
