An overcast day, but with some sunshine, so I walked to my daughter’s house to have coffee and a catch-up as I have not seen her since before she went on holiday. Both grandchildren were up although neither were dressed when I left at 1230 hours; Oliver was playing on his PS3 in his dressing gown and Victoria was watching television in her Giraffe onesey!
While there I took some pictures in their garden and decided that this Peacock butterfly should have the honour of being my picture today, despite not being as sharp as it ought to be. There were quite a few butterflies in the garden, but they were generally too far away or flying. I have not blipped a Peacock this year so that is why I chose this picture.
The boss-man builder came today and has installed the shower base and hand basin in the existing bathroom; he also did some work with the drains. We now have to wait for the tiler to come and finish the tiling before the shower doors can be fitted.
No reply yet from Essex County Council regarding the Residential Flood Certificate; I will contact them again on Monday.
