I decided to take a picture in the garden before we went to Papworth hospital for another appointment for my husband. It was raining and although I took a few pictures of wet flowers and raindrops I decided on this Dahlia. The Dahlias are not doing very well this year, except this one, which seems to be the exception.
The appointment at Papworth did not take too long today; they were very much on time. On a good day the trip there and back takes about fifty minutes each way depending on traffic; today with the rain it took just about an hour each way. One more trip this week, then nothing, so far, for my husband until Addenbrookes hospital at the beginning of September.
